You can spot a Roland Mouret creation a mile off: silken fabrics, drapery and bias cuts are just a few of his calling cards, but for Pre-Fall 19 the designer made a return to tailoring in its many guises. The Marengo dress is spun from wool and sculpted with sharp folded panels through the front, in the designer’s signature origami style. To add to the architectural silhouette, the short sleeves spray out at the elbows. All this midi needs are stilettos in an equally electric hue.
